The tale of two lovers—and a dog named Chance

John and Jesse met in New York City and, after a quick cab ride downtown to a party, it was obvious they had a connection. Flash forward eight years, and a wedding was in the works. As an InnerCircle member of Kimpton Karma Rewards, Jesse already loved our hotels, and Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor seemed the perfect destination for saying "I do." Part of the reason the couple loves Kimpton so much involves how well the hotels treat their dog Chance. On their wedding weekend, the hotel spelled "Chance" out in dog biscuits to greet the furry friend, setting a warm, welcoming tone for a fantastic celebration to come.

Memorable Details

The morning of, they both enjoyed a low-key brunch with their groomsman at local favorite brunch spots Regi's and Miss Shirley's Cafe. After a leisurely morning meal, the guys went back to the Majestic Suite prepping for the main event. While getting ready and toasting bourbon in the Majestic Parlor, their photographer captured some touching moments.

"Seeing so many special people fill the room made the moment magical," explained the grooms.

"We and our guests felt like the only ones at the hotel, with all the attention on us."

While guests enjoyed the hotel's evening wine hour, Jesse and John treated close friends and family to a Champagne toast while they took photos in B&O Brassiere. Shortly after, they were officially wed in the Paris North Ballroom. The guests enjoyed dancing all night long to music provided by The Bachelor Boys.
