Benjamin and Ryan are long time Kimpton members and were fond of the building’s historical charm. They knew a destination wedding, not too far from their home in DC, that was both charming and affordable was ideal for them and their loved ones. Their wedding day started with Benjamin showing Ryan a surprise video with heartfelt testimonials and congratulations from his closest friends – did we mention there were many tears? The ceremony was held in the Vienna room, decorated by Atelier Floral Design who lined the aisle with submerged orchids and floating candles.
Ben and Ryan raved that the event and catering staff worked tirelessly with us on every detail to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and most importantly, that our wedding was a true reflection of who they are as a couple. “From the moment we arrived with a loaded minivan full of supplies to our tearful goodbyes, the staff were friendly, attentive, patient, and sincere. In fact, one of the porters gave Ryan’s nephews coloring books and crayons when they arrived. They still talk about him.”
